Wound care is a specialty that is often overlooked and frequently a problem for the foot and ankle. Dr. Kobos has been involved in wound care since her early years in podiatry school. She treats wounds of all types including diabetic/neuropathic wounds, venous stasis wounds, and surgical wounds. She is involved in limb salvage frequently working with vascular surgeons, internal medicine doctors, and infectious disease doctors in Albuquerque. She also does consultations at Presbyterian Hospitals, Lovelace Hospitals, and the Heart Hospital for wounds and foot and ankle infections.
